David joins Caspio from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where he was senior manager of the newspaper's Internet Technologies Group, and previously served as its director of computer-assisted reporting and analysis. At Caspio, David will assist Caspio's large and growing customer base of media companies leveraging the Caspio Bridge framework for rapid online database publishing.

"We are excited that David has joined our team as an essential link to media outlets across the globe," said Caspio founder and CEO, Frank Zamani. "These are times of profound change for the online publishing industry, and David, with his extensive database knowledge and strong industry ties, is in a unique position to help Caspio's media customers publish local, state and national databases, plus support their advertising and marketing goals with interesting apps that generate significant page views."

David's 20 years of experience in the news business gives him a well-seasoned perspective that clearly complements the industry's demand for Caspio's products and services. "The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where I worked for 10 years prior to Caspio, has been a loyal customer and avid user of Caspio Bridge for over two years," Milliron said. "There wasn't a week that went by that we didn't use Caspio Bridge to deploy newsworthy data or use its wizard-driven framework to create web-based surveys, contests or mashups."

Since 2001, companies worldwide have created over 50,000 web applications with Caspio Bridge as a "no-programming" way to quickly create and deploy database-driven search applications, forms and reports to any web site. Publishers such as Cox Newspapers and Lee Enterprises have rolled out Caspio Bridge as their standard database publishing platform, and in May Caspio announced a strategic customer relationship with the MediaNews Group, publisher of 57 daily newspapers.
